York Inst. Changes Regions!

Just wondering if Alcoa folks will blast them (and Jody Wright) for moving. Heaven forbid they do whats best for them! LOL

Why would they blast them?  It wasn't to avoid Alcoa, heck, everyone in that Region would love the opportunity to move away the State Champs...lol.  It was just more logical to play in the Upper Cumberland region.  York was the only team in the proposed region in a central time zone and the travel wasn't much different by moving considering the time difference.

Getting to pound on Loudon again for the next 4 years will fix that itch.

How many schools in Knoxville have a football team? And this is a serious question. I don't understand why they have a hard time finding games. Seems like a game between to knoxville schools would be a huge gate and I would think a good game.
