Yeah something i just remembered he is in Humphreys co. alot...McEwen HS. Pretty sure thats where Rick is originally from and i think his parents live in the area. He aint leaving WCHS n going to McEwen or Humphreys county thats for sure.

Avery Davis will be QB.

Davis and Logan Cole will be a nice QB RB tandem. Its just going to be heck trying to block some of the more physical teams. We have i know of 2 starting O lineman who are no more than 180-185 and are built more like TEs or LBs not OGs n OTs. But they have been hitting the weights hard so hopefully our size wont hurt us that much as long as we are strong.

lets not forget about lucas ray and joe birchett as rb...they are just as important to the running game imo    with a little mix of speedster dawson mathis threw in there

Who will be the coach????

My guess will be Derek Willis with Coach Crews as his main Assistant coach. I can also see it being the other way around though. I played with Willis, he is a quiet no nonsense type guy who if given a few years and some talent will be a good coach at the HS level IMHO.

 

Final Decision for Rick Rice is Tuesday, May 19th. (He's gone. Just waiting on the final school day to announce it.)

Crews and Pierce are both getting close to retirement and Dixon has actually been due retirement so it'll be interesting to see how and who will be offered the head job and whether they all decide to stick around. Hopefully there won't be another Charlie Foxtrot like '06.
