Runningbacks to watch next year (Sumner Co.)

I thought Banks was a key contributor to Gallatin's success. He was injured early season and played well on offense and defense. He had 1000+ yards rushing while spitting carries with So. Jordan Mason who should be a future D1 caliber athlete. He is not Jalen Hurd or Josh Malone. 9AAA has been spoiled to see those kids the last few years but, Banks just turned 16 yrs old mid way through the season and we should see a more physically imposing athlete his senior year.

I didn't think he had that many yards..he wasnt impressive against beech springfield x2 or hendersonville..his biggest issue will be staying out of trouble...

Gallatin as a whole was not impressive versus Beech, Hendersonville and Springfield this year. Many key players injured early but Banks did have 100+ yards vs Beech and 1000+ on the year. I have not heard of him getting in trouble and hear he is a good student as well.

There are many excellent backs returning for these Sumner County teams all of which should have a bright future playing at the next level.

In fact I have heard several times about Banks avoiding trouble. The kid has a bright future if he continues on this path. I look for him to really improve this next year. If he can gain some muscle mass then the rest of the district is in trouble.

Didnt his brother Darian Banks get locked up for burglary in Hendersonville?

I think so. Doesn't mean he will.

Was Dorian with him? No. He is not his brother. Let's talk football.

Haha it was a simple question, i was going to look up his brothers stats the other day to see how he was doing in college and i saw that and i wanted to confirm it was him. Hopefully he does stay out of trouble and plays for UT.

Oh, got it. Then ask to begin with instead of impling his brother as a trouble maker.

Beech will have the best trio of backs in the district as long as they stay out of trouble, I mean healthy. 😉

What ever happened to Travis Haymer?

Not sure where he is now, but never played in college.  He ran as hard as any high school rb I ever saw.  Wish he could've taken it to the next level.
