Cordova will probably play for their region title u can bet on it..And like I said ..Deberry had 18 but almost shot UC out of the game..Stockdale came to play!.He will be close on the number 4 scoring leader in UC HISTORY with stick backs and dump offs..lol..At the end of the year..I say he will beat out Ronald Ward for the 4 spot.

All state for sure if they make it but I dont know about Mr.Basketball. .You will most of the time have one out of west maybe two..but for sure one out of middle or east..Their is alot of kids deserving but in my opinion Deberry is a great high school player but one dimensional. .Stockdale is the most versatile on both ends and all positions. .Shooters are dimes a dozen but versatile players are hard to find.

The new kid is a pretty good point guard but he is just another shooter..He is soft on the defensive end..Simpson is probably the most athletic player and he get get to the rim at will.Good on defense. .His problem is finishing the play..Once he gets that ge will be a force to reckon with.

I watched Adamsville and Hardin County the other night and Cambell has got to be one of the best players in singleA. I also mentioned in another post that he was timid or at least played timid at Huntingdon. Didn't see anything timid in game against Hardin County. I think he scored 30+ points and had double figure rebounds. I don't think Adamsville can compete with Mitchell, Union City or even TCA but he is really good player. Can score inside and outside. Hardin County also has a really good player #23. Strong and really athletic.

yea, didn't Campbell just get MVP of the lighthouse classic game?? And I think you are talking about Will Shelton from Hardin county if I'm not mistaking. Edited by bballguru1

    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
