TN Draft Worthy Players

Ryan is a very good Junior this year, he is in the Class of 2004 at McCallie.

 

Ryan is rated #61 by Baseball America/Prospects Plus in their "Top 150 Class of 2004 Prospects" in America.

Yeah he's good, but he doesn't like to throw in games where is getting hit at the least bit. Seems to always have an arm problem when people start hitting him. Of course he will be a top prospect because he can hit against dumb pitchers and he can throw real hard and he's a LEFTY. A lefty throwing hard has a better chance than a right hand pitcher, but thats baseball common sense. Im not downing him at all because he's a great player but he does have weaknesses no one likes to mention about him.

What you are saying is true. I've seen him ask to be pulled out of the game several times when he was getting hit. Said his arm was hurting.

123 - Im glad im not the only smart person out there that knows what there talking about . To many people want to look at the good things about him. "Frontrunner" is what I think about him. Hes good but when it comes down to when someone is beating him, his arm starts hurting. Its a FACT!

What about Brendan Murphy of Grace Baptist in Chattanooga? I saw this kid play at the Junior Olympics in Jupitor, FL as a 16 yr old and he won the homerun derby. I understand that several scouts feel that he will be a middle round draft choice or a draft and follow player. What type of program does Grace Baptist have?
