summit goes to 22-1

Summit HS improved to 22-1 in team duals on the season with wins last night over Dickson Co 61-6 and Antioch 53-21..

 Independence tomorrow..8 January and Brentwood Tourney Fri and Sat 9 and 19 January. 

 Summit also won Mt.Juliet Tourney and Chattanooga Christian Tourney and placed 5th in MTSU duals taking only season loss to Wilson Central.

Summit is a good team, was down early to Antioch, but stayed the course and pulled out big wins in the middle weights.  I must say Antioch gave them a run for their money early.  Not sure what the coach is over there doing, but he has those guys going, and he is very passionate about the sport.  Good luck to Summit, and Antioch, the rest of the way!!!!

Congratulations to Coach Miller & the Summit High School wrestling program.  By going 22-1 in dual matches this season it may be time to consider upgrading the schedule next season to test the team.  It would be good to see Summit at the Cleveland Duals next season.

Summit placed 4th in GP west tournament (Brentwood) and went to a 24-2 dual record with wins over Ravenwood 47-24 and Franklin 51-28

Summit goes to a

 26-2 duals record with wins over Mcgavock and Hillwood. Facing Brentwood tonight 1/16/15 to try to get a state dual slot in a very inconsistent district race within region 6.
