baseballfun
I agree that Spring Hill will again be excellent next year. I am curious what you are referring to about the tournament bracket? Both CPA and Spring Hill got byes and ended up facing teams that saved their number 1 pitchers. Interestingly, both Friday night games went extra innings. The conference was very strong this year and as we can see on any given night any team can beat another. If it was a best of 7 series, Spring Hill and CPA would have both advanced as they are the two best teams but in a short double elimination tournament anything can happen. Good luck to Cascade and CPA. May they represent the district well!
ecu
How does CPA and Cascade matchup with Creekwood and Montgomery Central? Both CPA and Creekwood are ranked in the top ten while the other two are 4 seeds.

RayKinsella
Who won the award of District MVP in District 12AA this year? Zach King of Spring Hill is Pitcher of the Year. Philip Clarke of CPA is Player of the Year.
ecu
Does anyone know about creek wood and Montgomery central.
baseballfun
Creek wood and Montgomery Central are both very good but did not play clean games at all the last time out in their district championships. High number or walks and errors contributed to a very very long game and and about 30 runs scored in that one game. CPA and CW played once earlier this season with CPA winning at CW. Both teams ranked in top ten. Should be a great game. Prediction: Both home teams win Monday night-- MC over Cascade and CPA over CW. ecu
Congrats to Cascade and CPA with huge wins tonight to advance. Way to rep the District! This should be a great game. How do these teams matchup with MLK and Lipscomb?
baseballfun
CPA and Lipscomb both ranked in top 10 in the state. Cascade in the 10-20 rane. MLK is definitely a notch below. However, the big factor is the level of competition both Cascade and CPA have faced this year is vastly superior to what MLK and Lipscomb have faced given the district they are in. I wouldn't be surprised to see both CPA and Cascade win Friday night to advance to state to give District 12 AA two team in state two years in a row. (Last year, CPA and Spring Hill) Prediction: CPA over Cascade and Lipscomb over MLK Fri: CPA over MLK and Cascade over Lipscomb Good luck to Cascade and CPA

ecu
Cascade impressive downing CPA 7-2 to win region. Impressive performance by the Champions. Look for CPA and Cascade to advance to State.
baseballfun
Congrats to Cascade. Played great! Cascade has beaten two top 10 teams in the last two weeks. CPA and Spring Hill CPA beat 1 top 10 team earlier this week when they knocked out Creekwood. CPA gets another chance to knock out another top 10 team when they take on Lipscomb tomorrow. Cascade should have little problem taking care of MLK to advance to state for the first time in Class AA. CPA and Lipscomb should be a great game. My take is Lipscomb schedule has been so weak that they aren't used to big games which CPA has been in all year and that CPA comes out on top to make it back to state two years in a row. Here is hoping CPA and Cascade face each other in the state finals in Murfreesboro for the 5th time this year!
