Ahdai Paige, Melrose: The junior was outstanding in his first varsity start on Friday, completing 21 of 37 passes for 471 yards and six touchdowns (12, 69, 57, 50, 56, 46) in a 48-27 victory over Hendersonville Pope John Paul II.

 

DEFENSE

 

Tim Hart, MUS: Hart, a senior linebacker who has committed to Tennessee, helped the Owls get off to a great start defensively. He recorded seven tackles — three for lost yardage — and had a pair of sacks in a 38-0 victory over Central.
