I agree the male ball players are there but not enough of them want to play football. When you are in K-8 and the only school teams are basketball you want to play for your school and that is very easy to understand.Almost all high school teams in the state have middle schools that fed in to the high schools. Makes it very hard to playat the 3-A level without it.

agree. In Livingstone the have Hilham, Rickman, Monroe all K-8, and LA middle school. LA bennifits in basketball becausse they have 4 schools feeding them basketball players as freshman. In football it hurts. Very rarely do they get anyone out for football not from LA middle, though its changing some. Thats why LA has 950 going to school, they only have 45-50 play football typically

Just think if  your middle school did not play football or worse what if you did not have a middle school.  How good would your football team be playing in your region.
