Mainord was GC's starting QB the last 3 years and left for SC, his back up is the new starter for SP now. Coach Bryant had a lot of arm talent on the mountain. Cant blame them for transferring, neither would have done anything in GC's new split back veer.

After watching Sequatchie county I think their Qb would have had a good yr in a veer offense if they have any blocking up front.

Well there's the thing, only return 2 starters I believe and most of the team is freshman. The way Sequatchie is using him is not his norm. The last 3 years he was strictly a pocket passer and now has added a little mobility.

Starting qb at south Pittsburg was the one i was in referance to about living in Grundy co..starting qb at sequatchie his daddy owns some house in that county just did change of address..rumer is that sp qb used his daddy's work address instead of house address..not saying i would report anything just think its a loop hole that should be closed..kinda like if Jennings left dekalb to play for Grundy but still lived in dekalb.grundy will get better and i am proud of that..them Bryant boys did what they could its always good to get new blood in there to raise the bar that much more..Bryant boys prolly would have done better in this region instead of the past 5 years in the old region..but only time will tell..

Where is this game being played? Can't make the trip Cannon county to watch the Dragons. If this one is in Baxter could be a good excuse for a good meal in Cookeville and a ballgame.

Grundy fans.....what ever happened to the QB and TE off the 2003 team who went to the 2nd round of the playoffs. I had heard the TE had a schoolarship to Colorado...jut wondering what ever happen to those two

That's what I was told as well. He owns the log home buisness? Sp is notorious for stuff like that. He actually looked pretty good against mc. I would think if he still lived in GC that they could get in big trouble.

From my understanding as long as you have a change of address you can play anywhere you want. Even if it's 3 counties over.
