Playerscoach
Who do you have an why?
WebbSpartans
Webb will give them a good game. This very young team is beginning to mature and jell. If you read the local papers there are great write-ups on the Webb backfield. Two concerns-- stamina (many play both ways) and focus (they are young and don't have the snaps a seasoned junior or typical senior has). Very excited to see DCA. Looking forward to it. Rhyno1777
I say Webb by at least two touchdowns. No matter how young or how small the roster Webb has, I have learned they are always well disciplined and play their game very well. DCA is having a very rough year. Small roster and from what I have been hearing, just too many mistakes.
Brave1
If DCA is ever going to beat Webb this is their shot. Wing T difficult to defend when you don't see it all the time. Should be a good game, who wins special teams, turnover battle will take this one. Does DCA have the mentality to beat Webb is the question. Spartan4Life
Webb will have a tough one Friday Night but pulls it out 17-14.
orangecrush
This will be a great football game. I am going to go with DCA @ home over the Spartans due to having more experienced athletes. I won't be surprised to see Webb pull out the victory, but something tells me that this is the year for the Wildcats.
missinglink2
Looks like heavy rain, this favors Webb greatly, DCA air attack will not be as productive, Webb by 2 scores.
Playerscoach
DCAs QB can sling it in the rain. Catching is the hard part. DCAs tailbacks are both fast and good. If DCA stops making turnovers ( 6 against FRA) this game should be a good one.
Playerscoach
DCA 20 Webb 17 OT Webb scored off of two DCA turnovers. One of which was the last play of the first half to tie it at 14-14. Webb had very little offense all night. DCA gave them three turnovers with great field position and other than those Webb had a tough time. This year DCA played better. Webb has young talent and will no doubt be very good for years to come.
WebbSpartans
Without qualification, DCA was the dominate team, straight from the get-go. Webb did not play as expected. Add the two together, it's easy to see why DCA got the W.

Add the two together, it's easy to see why DCA got the W.Thats nice of you to say. Webb is the standard in our district. Even the teams we've had that were close in talent couldnt get over the "Webb" factor. After CAK physically dominated us last week even the few kids that could have impacted that game just didn't perform that way. For instance 1,6,53 and 63 are great players in Div IIA but we just havent been able for all of them to play great together. When I watched the film last night they all jumped out on the film and made play after play. In fact 53 at 6'2-230 lbs is the scond fastest most explosive player on the team with a great 40 and a 6'2" high jump. As s sophomore hes just scratched the surface. The TD before half could have been a breaker for those kids like it was against FRA (2 fumbles and four interceptions) when we gave them a short field 6 times. The film clearly shows the playing being called incomplete by the side judge but our kids didn't let that make them quit. Ill change gears a bit, but in the soccer game the Webb affect was alive and well. The teams were evenly matched and by your own fans and coach DCAs 19, a freshmen MF, was the best and most active player on the field yet we couldn't capitalize. Six freshmen starters just cant get over the Webb factor. Webb is a great school and our athletics have to meet and exceed that standard once again if we want to do anything in the district. Playing you guys in anything is always exciting because our kids now how big it is. Now they have to settle down and work harder to even compete with Webb. Those 26 kids last night needed that win for our program and as funny as it seem no less that 10 kids who can help our program said they were playing again next season. Hats off to Webb! Great program with a great tradition! You guys are easily the standard and Wildcat nation was so happy those kids got a small taste of what it takes to be considered good last night. Hope you all made it home safe and good luck with all your programs. Will see you in a week or so at your soccer field where I hope our young lady cats can get over the mental hump.
