A team that runs the Veer depends on their QB moreso than any other player on tbe entire team! Simple! Plus Preston was named the all area player of the year in the Times daily(North Alabama newspaper) last yr as a 15 yr old sophomore! He's a HUGE part of our offense just like #44 is for yall!

In all honesty bro... I would say 15 of 17 TD passes have been for well over that 18 yds. And on runs id say around 75-80% of our TD runs(25 total) have been over 12 yds.

 

And yeah that INT Rice threw his first in 70 passes this yr!!! Our WR never turned back for the ball!!? Idk what Dawson was doing there but nonthless congrats to Tarzan(a) lol on his pick, might be the only one Rice throws all yr honestly!

Yeah, I think your receiver could have for sure contested the under-thrown ball had he tracked it quickly and come back to it.  I think pressure played a factor as well; I was kind of surprised to see Rice throw that ball while leaning backward to avoid two HC defensive linemen.  Pretty uncharacteristic choice for him.

 

Hope he continues to polish his game--which is already top shelf, for sure!  Can't believe that kid is just a Junior.  And that Pearson (for Huntingdon) is just a Sophomore.  Bright things ahead for both of our top two region 6 teams--even beyond this season.

We have three backs that will go over 1,000 yards versitel more so than wc look at your game last night with rice on sideline. 3. Team speed Mustangs far superior, you struggled with SH and HC that huntingdon ran by with ease. Coaching only tie, looks like both coaches have their teams playing at their full potential which is all you can ask for it just that Huntingdon potential is a little better with size and SPEED.

I wouldn't count out those fellers from Waynesboro just yet. They're the most disciplined football team the Irish have played.. That Rice boy can chuck a pig skin 40+ yards in the middle of a down pour so if it's dry, look out!

1. Your team speed is not faster

2. Y'all may be bigger but WC is tough, havnt had much trouble with bigger lines

3. We didn't struggle with HC, just a flow start in a downpour

4. We're not worried about what y'all have done against other teams

5. Nobody has yet to see the true WC team as coach Rice still hasn't shown but very little

Good luck and you might want to worry about your game this week instead the one down here by the creek

Need to play 1 more week before WC host Huntingdon.   WC will go as Rice goes and we have seen if he isn't in the game then WC is very Weak Weak Weak.     Huntingdon will run run run and run some more  until WC gives up TD, TD ,TD and more TD's on the ground   So both sides  are  proud of their teams and it will be fun to watch and it looks like this region will have two very good teams in the post season.

 

Please find some good Referees for this game.  what we have seen so far on that side of the river is a crime.  made up calls and refs that don't know what holding is.  If a player runs over a defender it isn't holding it is a pancake.  call the area director of the referees and get them to send their state crew to this game.  Its a outcry and an embarrassment to get out there and make up calls just to help the other team. Or Home Team.   I understand the false starts or encroachments,facemask and personnel falses and last hits but some of these pass interference calls are cheap and are only make up calls.   COME ON MAN........

The Mustangs do have a bigger line but so did Riverside and Houston County and we handled them pretty easily.

 

No lie yall will be TOUGH but so will we! And about your team speed and having backs with so n so yards. Thats true yall have great team speed but on film and talking to a cpl players for teams we both have faced its clear that the overall team speed is almost identical. No bias opinion here either. Im being real because now that its getting ab gametime it will be what its going to be!

 

The reason WC has 3 guys with ONLY 300+ rush yards is because of the simple fact we have sooo many talented backs and Coach Rice does a great job of keeping them super fresh by spreading the ball around. For instance..

 

We got 4 players who have carried the ball 30 times or more. The player with the most carries?? Thatd be our QB with a grand total of just 41 carries and prob 5 of those are from sacks. So our stats are very deceiving.

 

And we do go as #5 Rice goes but thats why he is our QB and why he is being looked at by several schools at the next level.

 

FACT: Week 10 will be a barnburner.

lol i agree we are slow and down right terrible!! That 7-0 record n 5th ranking is a bunch of bologna. God's gift to football is in Huntingdon Tennessee!
