Independence 49 Columbia 16

LaVernge 35  Franklin 0

Stewarts Creek 49 Shelbyville 35

Summit 13 Lincoln County 10 OT

Way to go Summit that's how u prove last week wasn't a fluke! I heard LC's coach on the radio with all kinds of excuses, kids out, played worse than last week, blah blah blah! Couldn't say u guys just played better tonight! Congrats good luck next week but i'd bet u won't be able to sneak up on Stewarts Creek after these 2 big wins! Wow!

We can second guess decisions all day long, but Turnovers, Penalties, and Special teams mistakes are a recipe for upset. Falcons should still control 2nd place in the region if they correct mistakes and win out.

So what you are saying is that Summit was the better prepared and disciplined team,,,,, and yes Summit was missing their best back,,,, and LC was much more bigger,,,, but somehow Lincoln lost the game ,,,,, not that Summit takes the field on offense and defense with players who go both ways,,,, and one senior starter,,,,, the team is sophomores and juniors,,,,who play as a team,,,,,, one of the turnovers was a highlight reel pick,,,, the snaps over the punters head well not sure about that,,, the 4th down and 3 to go play in which Summit made the stop,,,,starting the 2nd half with a turnover on downs and putting together a 7min drive that resulted in 7points,,,, holding LC in OT to,three and then somehow managing to score 6 to win the game,,,,,that's football and today the

better team on that field won,,,,,

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
