Riverdale vs Oak Ridge

First year Spring Fling was in Memphis the volunteers were overwhelmed in the parking lot and at the gate at Gagliano field when our baseball fans and student section showed up for a Tuesday morning game. A lot of schools travel well. First year Decatur Riverside baseball made it to Spring Fling at Riverdale the whole town came. Awesome crowd at those games.

 

When Riverdale football went to Kilbourne Ohio to play we filled up their visitors stands and we had fans sitting on the home side. Their AD told me it was biggest visiting crowd they had ever had. I miss playing football at Oak Ridge. Love the tradition there with the train and everything.

David you got to understand about Decatur County.  R'dale has almost as many students as the entire County has population.  LOL   Only reason I know is my wife is related to over half of them.  My wife was the Valedictorian of Riverside the year she graduated from there.
