How will this District turn out? Soddy Daisy has won both games with E. Hamilton (12 to 2, 10 to 2) and Cleveland (4 to 0, 10 to 4 or 5....went blank on this game) Looking pretty strong. Won the Wildcat Classic, going undefeated...4-0 and only using just one pitcher twice, which was one of our closers and he only pitched one inning in the two games.

Current standings thru 04/05.

 

Bradley Central 8-0

Soddy-Daisy 7-1

Cleveland 4-4

McMinn County 2-4

East Hamilton 0-4

Ooltewah 1-4

Walker Valley 1-5

 

BCHS and SDHS clash next Monday and Tuesday in what should be for the regular season district championship.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.

      Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.

      I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.

      The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
