Giles isn't as good as the score showed. Watched the game and Columbia just busted too many plays. Giles defense still needs a lot of work. What was up with the on side kick late in the game and still passing late in the game? Game was over. Was Giles trying to make a statement? Giles is an improved team this year but not like you think by their score. Still third in their league I believe.

Tim you are correct, Giles is not going to be a 70 point a game team and yes they are top 3 in the district.  As far as the kick, when else do you work on this, practice, when the other side is waiting on it or in a tight ball game when you really need it? You work on it when you can.  As far as passing, we tried running the ball and broke 2 or 3 long runs for tds, so what do you do. And yes Giles will be trying to make a statement all year as will every team that has plans on the post season.  I even understand why Columbia called 2 time outs with under 30 seconds left, game was over right.  But they had a chance for a meaning less score and they had a play to work on.  Cats d will have to improve and that's what they will do.

Short answer is he is a classless prick that cheats every chance he gets and loves to rub his opponents noses in it and on top of that the Giles faithful support and love him for it which says a lot about that community!!

No Giles has always been classless and trash now you have a coach that fits right in. #bobcats. #gutterlife

There's still time for you to enroll your son in Giles so he can be a winner. I know it has to be hard to watch Spring Hill lose to us year after year after year (Even when we were at our worst under Walt 😶).

Enjoy your mobel home and beer big guy. Maybe if the kids from Giles County had better leadership from the school and at home there would be more success stories coming out of that rat hole.

Well at least us with Giles County educations know that's it's mobile and not "mobel". Also, success stories? We have a state championship, a former SEC QB, a current All SoCon QB at a military school, a current SEC DB, and a long win streak against Spring Hill. What've the Raiders accomplished lately?

Well you've got to give them credit for the state title in baseball this year. But other than that they have Sterling Marlin I guess

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
