Very exciting to see the Green Wave back on top where they belong. I fully expect them to get to Cookeville and Mason to be player of the year. Beech game will be close in the first half and then the Green Wave will win 38-21. Go Green Wave!!!!

I like the optimism! But we gotta take this one game at a time. Beech is the next team, and one of the best 5a teams in the state. In fact, I feel like whoever makes it out of this region alive after the first round of playoffs will have a VERY good shot of making it to Cookeville. Go Green Wave

I agree with the one game at a time. I think the hunger is there for everyone to look ahead but hey Gallatin is not even assured of a playoff spot yet!! Let's all pull back on the reigns a little and take first matters first. If Gallatin starts getting beat by Beech, Hendersonville and Hillsboro all this Cookeville talk looks foolish. The Green Wave season has no easy games from here on out.

    • Tough situation.  Not sure the ROI is there right now.   Might be better options that are cheaper.
    • Yeah summer ball is really fun, but a lot of coaches are trying to play several kids to get much needed reps that they are not accustomed to. I would imagine Gibson County will have lots of players playing to get much needed reps. Want to win games but got to get experience as well and the rotation will be much deeper. I will be at MTSU, UTM Bethel and others. MTSU is the one I really look forward to.
    • So who are the new additions to the staff? Serious answers only please.
    • Its always interested to see the state teams the following summer after losing or not losing seniors and getting freshman and transfers. It's almost time.
    • Maryville has Alcoa on the schedule at the right time of the season which helped last year instead of at the first of the year not knowing much. West will be hard pressed to repeat this year but next will be a different story.
