OOLTEWAH VS MCMINN CO.

Recommended Posts

I'm not sold on McMinn just yet. I think depth will catch up to them at some point. I think if the Owls run their stud at the right side of their d for 1 1/2 quarters. They might exploit that and run away with it in second half. Owls coaches won't fold like others have against them. That said if McMinn controls the ball and continues to not turn it over game will be a coin toss. Just a hunch Owls put it together this game. 35 to 21.

WHEN I LOOK AT THE MCMINN SCHEDULE IT IS LACED WITH A BUNCH OF CUPCAKES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF BRADLEY WHO TOOK YOUR CHICKENWINGT TO THE WOODSHED . OAKRIDGE SAY THAT THEIR LINE PLAY ON BOTH SIDES WAS POOR AND I KNEW WHEN THEY CAME TO YOUR HOUSE THERE WAS NO WAY THEY WIN THAT GAME IF IT WAS CLOSE. BUT I STILL CONSIDER THEM A CONTENDER. WALKER VALLEY LEAD THE ENTIRE GAME UNTIL THE END BEFORE AN INJURY OCCURRED TO THE QB AND YOU WON BY 3.THEY ARE POTENTIAL CONTENDERS. CLEVELAND IS INJURED BUT STILL IN CONTENTION FOR THAT LAST SPOT FOR THE PLAYOFFS. NOW RHEA RUNS THE CHICKENWINGT TO PERFECTION BUT CAN'T DEFEND THE PASS. THAT WON'T BE A PROBLEM WITH YOU.. IT WILL BE WHO'S GROUND GAME IS MORE DOMINANT. TRUTHFULLY MY OWLS HAVE BEEN MUDD STOMPIN THE WEAK LINKS BUT CAN'T FIND THE END ZONE AGAINST AN OK TEAM LIKE RHEA COUNTY. HAVE WE FIXED THAT PROBLEM?? YEAH WE DEMOLISH THE CUPCAKES. THE CONTENDERS LIKE MCMINN? WE WILL SEE. BUT AS A REPRESENTATIVE OF 4-5A I AM GLAD TO SEE THREE TEAMS FROM MY DISTRICT THE TOP 10. THAT SAYS ALOT ABOUT PA AND MY LEADERSHIP!LOL

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
