Here is what I have so far.  Please post tournaments at wrtourneys.com 

 

11/12 Tullahoma 11/12 Smyrna 11/19 Bearden 11/19 Antioch 12/3 TN High 12/3 Centennial 12/28 Mt. Juliet 12/30 Independence 1/7 TN High 1/7 Hendersonville (needs to be submitted) 1/16 Halls 1/20 Hardin Valley 1/20 Greenville 1/28 Girls Regionals

 

 

Anybody know of any more especially mid-early December?

Pigeon Forge Beginner (K-8th grades) and

Girls Tournament

Jan. 21st  , 2017

  • All athletes Middle School and Youth Must have an AAU card.!

Location: Pigeon Forge High School 

Cost: $ 8.00 (Must register and pay on Trackwrestling.com)        

Coaches: MUST check in before each Event starts !!

(Coaches: if you don’t check in your wrestlers / Team will be scratched from the Event)

Admission : $ 5.00 adults / $ 3.00 students / under 5 free

Concessions will be provided.

Format:       Round Robins (K-8th  )

  • 1-1-1 periods, 10 pt. tech., modified OT
  • * Girls – periods and grouping will depend on numbers
  • 3-5 wrestlers / group (round robin)

Wrestling Begins : 9:30 am

Information : The youth/MS tourn. information will be posted on TNAAU schedule and Trackwrestling.com; The Girls tourn. information will be on Trackwrestling.com or contact Director listed

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
