ive heard close to 100 have applied. some are still in the process of applying. they are narrowing it down now before the interviews.

Told you there would be numerous applications. Lebanon is 30 miles from Nashville which is a destination city. Tons of coaches who think they are the next Nick Saban will apply...lots of hungry young coaches who aren't looking to sap the system and double dip. If the powers to be are smart they will look at applicants from football states...not Kentucky.

I am not surprised that to see a lot of applicants.

 

The bar has been set at rock bottom. This program is 9-53 the last 6 years. It will be nearly impossible for the next coach to do any worse.

 

They will be playing in an easier region the next 4 years than they have recently. Ravenwood, Franklin and Overton in most years is a harder group than Hendersonville, Rossview and Station Camp.

 

As we have talked about in here they also got from being able to schedule 3 non-region games to being able to schedule 5 non-region games. That is something if handled properly can put them in a better position to win more games. That is what they need right now to just start winning some games to change perception.

 

A good young coach or even an older one looking to get back on track should look at this program and see the potential. A program where they have been winning 0-2 games a year that could easily be in a position to win 3-5 games for the next 4 years depending on scheduling.
