I don't know if there is rain in the forecast but if so then the Indians will be at a decisive advantage.  They good mudders.....!  Oakdale's reliance on the pass will be tested with a wet ball.  Look for the Indians to roll.  Both Indian RB's will have close to, or over, 100 yards tonight.  Having a big tackle back in the line-up should help going forward.....he got some rust out last week.

I'm pretty sure we won't get looking ahead until the business at hand is covered.  I will say this about the possible "next" game.....everything will have to tighten up to beat an excellent GB team.  Coalfield red us like an open book.  On offense we are going to have to be extremely productive and I know how hard that is against a team as good as GB.  On the other side, the defense also has to get enough stops to keep the score manageable.  #1 objective there is to stop Kayne Roberts.  GB is good on both sides of the ball....so the task is very hard.  Will we have to play a perfect game?  That isn't possible but we do have to make as few errors as possible.  Having said all that....I think we give them a better game, although that still may not be enough.  Least there will be plenty of discussion next week.

Do you Oneida faithful think the Indians will have a better showing next week against GB? I'm sure GB is the only team they've prepared for this week. Especially, if the coaches are as smart as you all and already know the outcome tonight

Sarcastic much rudy? Who'd you pick in the big ones (or who would you pick if you don't play it)?

    • One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.
    • They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.
    • And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull
    • Wish it was made clear before a coach gets let go or not retained instead of being sold as the reason he was in trouble. I was told the kids who got grades changed, 97% or better were non athletes but the coach is taking all the heat so the schools can pretend it wasn’t their job to know. heck, what do you think could happen when you hire husband and wife as head principal and head guidance….   that’s not being said though…
    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe.  Last time I came up there to watch my pirates one of those guys in that pickup trucks flattened the tires on the lawnmower.  This is payback.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
