sorry i dont agree he would dominate at 106 with whitworth, kid is a really good wrestler for an 8th grader, but i believe he would easily have competition, he has wrestled with Holloway-ND for years and Holloway can easily stay with him and i believe Trent Nelson would also be a very tough task.

126- Ray Ray would have to face Shrader who beat him already and Wheaton defending champ and 1 at 126. Ray ray got beat by thurman of Heritage- GA who Wheaton pinned at McCallie so no that wouldnt be an easy thing either.

Now i would say King and Dendy both win, 160 would prob be a toss-up, 170 duhm does win, whimper wins at 182. 220 is a toss up and hvy is an easy win in AAA or A-AA champion

Shrader did defeat Raymond Eason in the finals of the FR Tour but Raymond Eason has also pinned Shrader this season.

Reiniche has been weighing in light maybe he's going down to 152.

Bold move if he does. I don't see him beating Dendy.

I see him beating dendy as long as he keeps out of legs. He's better on his feet then dendy is.

It is a tough spot with 3 very good wrestlers between two weights with Dendy, Reiniche, and Nicholson.  Then again, winning a state title shouldn't be easy.

Why should winning a state title not be easy?  Is handing out state championship medals to everyone not the goal of the PC majority? lol

Which match was the latest match? pins especially can be sometimes more luck than anything, i might have sucked as a wrestler, but i did catch a few really good one's on their back a time or two, i wasnt at the Buford tourney but maybe that is what happened to shrader there i dont know, however he beat Eason 2 weeks later in finals of his own tourney 15-11. Also again Shrader isnt even ranked 1st at 126 in AAA that would be Wheaton, with Anderson of bradley second and burns bearden in third with Shrader 4th ranked. So i think that would be a very competitive weight class for sure.

    • That would probably be the AD and he should be gone too
    • I disagree. No one is asking about the academic investigation anymore and that’s because the people at the top knew it would be their butts that would have to answer for a lack of oversight if that was the view of the public. How could they derail that completely? How about playing on the emotions of the people of the community by self reporting a kid academically ineligible when the news reported they and the AD knew someone changed the kids grades and no one brings that up? Is that kids grade one of the 1000 or so is that a completely separate situation?    and if it was a completely different  situation then why would they want to make the coach and team forfeit every game from the schools second best season ever in the mist of an active investigation where the coach was implicated but somewhat loosely….
    • One final thought. Coach Keith claims he was not aware of the player's failing grades. I won't comment on that, just to say this, IF he did not, whose job was it to see that this kid did not play ball at CHS? That person should be looking for a job and they might be, I don't know.
    • They have fired the principal, 2 teachers, at least 1 counsellor and 1 coach so far. I don't see it from my view in Oak Ridge as a coach thing, he  was just implicated in asking 1 teacher to  fix 1 kid's grades.   In our local media(Clinton and Oak Ridge)the principal is who is the originator and pusher of the fraud. The others are peripheral. The coach isn't even the big story, just here on a sports site.  The media view is the principal did it to cause CHS to be seen as excellent by the state. He committed fraud to do that so he might spend a little time in jail IF that is valid.
    • And from coach himself, he wasn’t told he was let go because of the ineligible player.    that’s just what the schools needed to happen to fit their bull
