Covington @ Munford - season opener

The Covington Chargers travel to in-county rival Munford to open this football season. I'm looking forward to the game. After seeing both teams in last week's Jamboree, I think that the Chargers should be able to win this one. However, I have a grandson who is a freshman at Munford, so he will be rooting against us tonight.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I was telling a Munford mom once that Munford could have a good football team if they would make some of those 300 pound tuba players get out of the band and go play football. She told me right quick that her son was one of those tuba players. 

They are proud of their band.

Munford has started turning heads. Looking like the title for best football team in tipton county has shifted south this year!
