You were raised to be a moron too apparently, incapable of being able to evaluate a situation and come to a decision that makes best sense for your family .   IN this instance though I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, You weren't there and the person who's filled you in likely hasn't heard the entire story either.

Since you brought it up, I might as well tell my side.     I was told I was going to be JV HC as well as an Assistant Coach, these stipend levels are higher then a volunteer.   

At this point I spent more time working on his football team then he had. I left work early everyday to go to workouts and give kids rides home who needed it, sometimes giving rides to approximately 1/3 of the football team.(One time I had 6 kids in my cab in 6 in the back of my truck) I never missed a workout or a practice and was dedicated to the process.   I was always first to arrive, and last to leave. 

Then another coach approaches me asking for help with the JV team.   This was the first I had heard I was no longer going to be the JV HC.  2 days later, in a meeting Coach Andrews made a suggestion I call plays as DC for JV to help with my experience, in this meeting it was made apparent to everyone on staff that" I was just a volunteer".    
 
I owe nothing to those who don't keep their word to me. 


OHhhhh and btw I seem to remember something about your "hardworking coach" once quitting right in the middle of the season during a stint as middle school coach, a point people actually once made on here.  Though I admit I know nothing about that.

The only maturity Tate has in IMmaturity. He needs to focus on making his team better instead of trying to break down other teams because all of his players go to these places.

 There are a lot of people who don't know the whole story behind our "illegal recruiting" deal but I believe some of you guys do. He almost messed Wingo up going to Whitwell too. Tate has made it a mission to try and get other teams in the valley in trouble but it has failed. The kids are still leaving and it will be worse if he isn't fired. I work with 2 dad's that have kids on the team and they feel the same as you. They are 95% sure they are leaving at the end of the season. This guy can't coach.

Losing Nick, Justin, and Paul hurt grundy. I think that's obvious now. My oldest son was an ok football player and Paul worked with him and brought a side of alex out I've never seen. Those kids don't get that kind of attention anymore.

No he can't instead he tells everyone that Coach Grider was the one that told on Wingo. He said Mathis told on south Pitt for an illegal player, and Coach Cain illegally recruited  Houston Maynard. I know his dad. Mike can't stand Casey is why Houston left

He told me this in my living room and that's the reason I don't coach with that lying little child that thinks he's a coach.

Yeah I've heard the stories about Grider and Mathis but I'm not sure I believe them. They actually have a pretty good relationship.

Jason, this is Coach Jones.  I don't get on here but was told I was being bashed, so I felt I needed to respond to you.   I agree I am over weight, but for you to get on here and bash me, someone you don't know at all speaks volumes to your character.  I am constantly trying to grow as a coach and mentor to our players.  I have been coaching for over twenty years and have had successes and failures, but I can assure you I am for from clueless and am not anywhere close to a coward.  I have sent you a text and have tried to call you.   I will not get back on this site because I have many other things to do than see people bashing each other, so if you have an issue with me, call me or come by and see me.
