No it wasn’t the whole team. That kid let it get the best of him. He yeld out some pretty ruff gestures at the fence gang then gave the crowd the Ole middle finger. Whatever Coach escorted him off the field had him by the back of his jersey leading him to dressing room. The Blue Devils did have a good game plan and the first half Cloudland came to the Homecoming festivities and easy game but Jellico came to play some Football. They have some good players. Play and run hard. I’m sure that kid that got ejected regrets his actions and if your son is like you say I’d say after the Coach got a hold of him after the game he really regretted it. Any way safe travels to them and thanks for making the Cloudland team realize that they gotta play to win. They are not just handed to them. By the way it looks like your son has those young men playing with some fire and heart.

Jellico is having a ruff year. The school has loss over 100 kids in the last 2years because  no jobs here after the coal jobs left and basketball coach trying to get  them not to play football. It's a hard place to coach and build a winning program.   My son was coaching at the university of the Cumberland's and wanted to come back home to jellico and help these kids. I just don't know how much more he can take and hope he stays.  Maybe some day we can have a football program like cloudland.

I was talking to one of my buddies at the game about Jellico and I was asking if he had ever been there and he said that he had been to a Basketball game, tournament there. He said that was prolly the best he had been treated at another school. Said that was some of the nicest and most welcoming people. Hope your son can hang in there for those young men! I’m sure it is very hard tho. These small town coaches we have up here and I’m sure yalls Coach too don’t do this for the $. It can’t be that much. Glad they do it tho. On another note that #4 is pretty quick and 52 is a big youngun

    • What did they do this year? Every other year, I’ve gone to one. It’s been a little scrimmage and then a bunch of games like a quarterback throwing challenge, O line versus D line, push-up challenge, etc.    But not surprised, nothing new that the program has been on the decline since they lost their recruiting middle school coach. The baseball coach still does his fair share, but he recruits good baseball players. Not good football players, and decent baseball players, definitely nothing like the middle school coach could do, he left for a middle school job down near Cleveland high school a few years back.
    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
