I'd like to think we gained some respect from the folks at Ravenwood. Extremely physical game.

No shame in the Jackets’ game last night. They took it right at a very good 6A football club. Like Swarm said, just not enough horses to match rosters. Thought it was a really good football game. Tempers were intense all night long, and both teams brought it hard every single play.

I don't think it was the fresh horses it came down to 2 plays that turned that game around  when our db got burned and the fluke play when when we caused that fumbled and it went right in ravenwoods other receiver hands. Other then that we held our own

Interesting, because the paper stats said the Raptors gained over 500+ yards, 42 points, and overcame 10+penalties. Jackets gained most of the yards on 2 plays Johnny's cousin said. Said Ravenwood only punted once.

All true, and still just a one point football game on into the 4th quarter. That’s a pretty dang good 6A football team. I thought Fairview played them a heck of a game.

Johnny heard that Fairview played a physical game and has the right attitude to win 3A ball. Pearl cohn will be a tough match up. They have more athletes than Ravenwood but probably not as well coached, just Johnny's  opinion. Glad to see all Wilco Teams doing well this year but Franklin.
