Talk is that DB has narrowed their search down to Witten, Billy Seals (from Huntington High School in WV) and an assistant from Graham Clark's staff. Sounds like a decision will be made in the next few days.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Witten took the db job honestly but he would be getting that loss from the devils in week 1 vs later in the year

If DB offers he is gone. If DB hires another he will be at EHS for a while unless Science Hill comes open or he tries the new Sullivan County school in 2 years.

I still think he may be the guy at DB. Either way though, he'd be crazy to leave Elizabethton to take that Sullivan County job, playing 6A with no city kids. He's smarter than that. That place is gonna be the NET version of Jefferson County.
