Sorry to inform you that I have two boys that both get significant pt and are major contributors to the team.

Thanks for having my back bro! But you see the point I'm trying to make.

It’s ok super dad. Waverly is and always will be inferior. You guys from Waverly make me laugh. Y’all are terrible for years then get a few athletes and win a few and think y’all will win it every year. Good luck in the second round. Normal for Waverly.

Hickman Co is going to give Waverly  all they want. They have a great running back and we all know that Waverly hasn't stopped any RB this year. As far a  the years to come, it will be hard for Waverly to do anything since the starters hardly ever come out of the game no matter the score and none of the younger players are getting any experience. Isn't that right Pizzpatriot2.

Yea you're right....you know so much about waverly football it amazes me! You cant even keep up with your own passwords so now you have a 3rd account...do you really think you could keep up with a football team?

Waverly has the best QB I’ve seen play HS football. If a team can’t limit his success it wi be hard to  beat them. They have other great players but he’s the one that makes it work

I will agree in parts. I would have to say 37 has been the work horse this year. And he is something special! Hard for WR/DB to get Mr football but hes definitely been the mvp for waverly so far and I believe he should be in talk for Mr football

totally agree.  last year we had 15 and 37 to split the work load.  this year 37 is pretty much a do-all.  he takes 5 yd passes and makes them 70 yd receptions.

37 is great no doubt, but the QB makes him great. Take the 37 off the field a Waverly becomes slightly better than average. Take the QB out and Waverly is still very good. Ask any coach who has to prepare for the and they would said the same.

gonna have to disagree.  he makes catches most high school kids cant make and when he does you wont catch him.  look at our passing stats vs his recieving stats.

I've been on the other teams side line at every  home game and there r only 2 players the other coaches make sure they know where they r and when there on the field it's 37 and 45. But I think 37 is the MAP of Waverly this year and more than likely the region as well by the numbers 37 is in the top the in the whole state as a wr

    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
