Ripley @ Millington

This is an interesting matchup. #1 vs. # 4 but the power rankings have Ripley slightly above Millington. Can Ripley knock off Millington or is Millington going to be too much. I know Ripley has played well with some good teams this year but struggled to finish. Thoughts?

This one a toss up I don't know much about Millington this year.

If Ripley can put togerher two positive halfs and stay focus tgey can make ot to Round 2. Tge2 Tigers played the Trojans well at home and Dyersburg defeated Millington there, but Millington played a good first half. Go Tigers

I’ll go with Ripley. I think they have a good team but need to work on their conditioning program. Their o line is the biggest I’ve seen in a while.

Millington has improved a good bit since the opening week. I believe they are a little better than their 4 & 6 record as they played 3- 6A teams 1- 5A and a private school in the non region part of their schedule. Although the region is down this year the Trojans did go undefeated in region play. Should be a very competitive match up for a #1 vs  #4 first rounder . I believe Ripley handled Millington pretty easily in a pre season scrimmage, Didn't they?

Ripley & Millington actually scrimmaged once in the spring & once in the fall. The scrimmages were competitive, but ultimately Ripley did win both scrimmages. Both teams I'm sure have improved since then so not sure if you can hold much stock in those scrimmages.
