No more Cowbell?

I was reading in the Pulaski Citizen(newspaper)where Lawrence Co.and Giles Co. are not playing in football anymore.How could this be?They have played every year since like the 1930’s.

Well I haven't bothered to ask any insiders why, but this will be a big hit for one home game next year.  Unless they bring in some private school that will pay to come beat up on a team, GC will lose out on a good gate night.

This is sad. Walt seemed pretty happy about not having us on the schedule when he posted it on twitter. 

I guess that’s the only way he could figure out to keep the cowbell at LC. Looks like he wasn’t counting on us to forfeit two years in a row.

He is probably counting on Giles County getting some kind of magical transfer from Alabama or some nearby school like Marshall, Tullahoma, Richland, Lawrence County, etc.  If that’s who they “have to” schedule then they may as well play a DII Private School.

I'm hearing the cats picked up Hendersonville.  Probably a step up from LC but not sure Hendersonville will bring half as many fans as LC.

Tough opponent for the Bobcats there. Glad to see the schedule getting beefed up. Marshall fans have seen what the improvement in schedule can do for a program.
