UTM wins tonight by 20

We won a very sloppy and very costly ballgame tonight. We came out flat after beating a top notch division 1 team on friday, and let NAIA school Mo. Valley hang around. Won by 23 I think, but man was it ugly. This win was very costly as well, our starting powerfoward David Wilkerson, a juco junior transfer broke his kneecap and is done for the year. This is a huge loss not only b/c he's 6'6 260 but also because we were already thin inside. Anyways a W is a W and we travel to MTSU on wednesday. Oh, and we had a great crowd tonight, we appreciate the support. Go Hawks!

I hate to hear that David is done for the year, but I think Coach Campbell will have the HAWKS motivated. As a former SKYHAWK I was there for the Cal Luther era. Since the coaching change the program has been going in the right direction. Keenan, Joey, Kelley, and Earl will have to step it up. GO HAWKS. Good luck to Skyhawks volleyball, and finding a new football coach.

NAIA Union University will beat UTM on the 5th if they play the way they are capable of playing

I hope they play the way they played against Toogaloo.

They really played well. Wasn't that the first time they lost their own tournament in 9 years. They don't have a chance.

Did Union play the way they were capable of playing Thursday night? 72-60 I believe was the final score. And just to add something Union returned 4 starters from a team that went 31-5, and UTM returned 1 starter from a team that went 15-14. It's a different league that we play in and Union doesn't have a chance.

While I enjoy watching NAIA ball, it is a totally different game, Union guards were under the gun all night long, I thought Union played very well, considering they were outmatched at the guard positions. Congrats on the skyhawk win, and lay to rest the talk of NAIA ball being on the same level as even OVC ball. It isn't.....
