kwc
Region 7-6A showdown between resurgent Bartlett and undefeated Houston. What do you think happens?
pigskinred
Houston takes this one. That said, they better contain the Bartlett QB. Seems to be their best player and biggest threat.

According to SMSB, through 5 games, Houston is averaging almost 222 ypg on the ground. However, they are also averaging almost 178 ypg through the air. THAT is substantial. That's an average of almost 400 ypg of offense that is almost evenly dispersed between the run game and the pass game. Now, by the same token, Bartlett's D is pretty good accoring to the stats. They are only giving up 96 ypg rushing and almost 68 ypg passing. they average holding their opponents to approximately 164 ypg. Bartlett is only giving up 13.4 ppg on defense and Houston is only giving up 11.8 ppg. Offensively, Houston is averaging 42.2 ppg while Bartlett is averaging 22.5 ppg. What gives? What's the over and under?
pigskinred
Don't see Bartlett holding them to 164 yards of total offense. If they load the box to stop the run like Arlington tried, they will get torched through the air like Arlington did. This will be interesting to see how Bartlett plans to slow Houston down.
