Public high school football returns to Bellevue after almost 40 years!

WSMV News 4, Nashville Friday Night Blitz to broadcast LIVE Friday Oct. 5th from the Bellevue Owls Alumni Homecoming Game as the Hillwood Football team takes on the Antioch High School Bears at Bellevue Middle School in a great community event.

Hillwood played and beat Father Ryan High School at Bellevue's field in the fall of 1990.  Should be a good atmosphere in Bellevue Friday night.  Go Toppers!!!

That would have been a region game.  If memory serves me correctly that would have been:

Father Ryan

Hillwood

Hillsboro

MBA

Pearl Cohn

Overton

Mcgavock

Antioch

Glencliff

with the exception of MBA, these teams are nothing like their current state.  PC wasn’t good, Antioch had a winning record....Glencliff could field a full team....
