1. Clay Co.

2.Monterey (couple of transfers from Livingston)

4.Pickett Co. ( returns all 5 starters)

5. Gordonsville

6.Trousdale Co.

7.Jackson Co.

This is what I was told was coaches poll.  I think one of RBS injuries  was football season ending for him happened last game of year. Livingston point guard transferred to Monterey.

Thanks. It was in our paper today. I understand that Parker Gore isn't playing. He might have been the best defensive player in the district and possible first team all district  player. I hope he is playing, but last I heard he wasn't, so they may be losing a very good player.

If I ranked them.

1. Clay Co. - best coach in district

2. Monterey - Talented

3.  Gordonsville - Major Coaching upgrade

4. Pickett - I see big strides for those young guys they got.

5. RBS - Most underachieving team in class a ball last 3 years.  Got the players.  Coaches in 6a would kill for this roster.

6. Trousdale - athletic can beat anyone any given night.

7. Jackson - down for them

8.  Clarkrange - lost 32 best player i think.

Clay Co will be loaded cant wait to watch these boys play!

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
