McKenzie over Collinwood.

Perry Co over Bruceton.

The other two....I could for sure see WC and Huntingdon winning.  If I had to pick one, it would be WC beating Summertown.  If Huntingdon can stay out of foul trouble and the referees don't call the push off every time Butler shoots, H-Town could get the upset.

Have either of you seen Loretto play this year?

Don't get me wrong.  Anything can happen come tourney time.  But Loretto is more likely to win by 20 than Huntingdon is to pull the upset on the road.

I sort of figure Loretto will win with their height alone.  Huntingdon has no one even close to match it.  Hence, the reason even I had to pick one to upset, it would be West Carroll.

They are definitely more than their height.  Very quick team that scores a lot in transition.  Sometimes they play smother D, sometimes they play lax d.  That's the one thing that can get them in trouble, not being fired up on Defense.

The only teams that have beaten them by more than 3-6 points are 2 highly ranked teams in Alabama.  They've played multiple good AAA TN teams, all have been good games (2 losses by 3 points).

Unless Loretto has an off night, I believe that McKenzie is the only team in the region that can beat Loretto.  And I like their chances against McKenzie as well.

Great call on the Summertown/WC game!

Horrible call on Loretto/Huntingdon.. lol

If not for the refs  (they missed one int foul and several push off/shoves/OTB/and flat out attempted tackle calls, not to mention 5 or 6 missed travels) Loretto would have won this one by 40+.

And I'm not one for calling out kids on a message board.  So, I won't go into detail, but 33 (came in with 3 min to go in the fourth)....  This kid showed an extreme amount of disrespect towards our kid he was guarding and our fans on a sideline play.

Crazy McKenzie and WC have to travel 2 hours on a school night when they are 15 minutes from each other.  But, that is the TSSAA for you.  If it was on our side this time, I would tell you guys to play each other over in your own gym and then come over here if you had to. CRAZY!

I definitely understand where you're coming from!

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
