Rockvale travels to take on undefeated Nolensville!

Should make for an exciting game! Rockvale defeated Nolensville 33-15 last year. Both offenses are up tempo spread! Both defenses are very sound and do not give up a lot of yards or points! I'm going Rockvale in a 28-24 thriller.

Should be a great game between very evenly matched teams. I think it will boil down to who plays the cleanest game. I also think it will be an opportunity for Nolensville to get a possible win, if Rockvale is hungover from this last weeks win...

Rockvale cannot turn the ball over in this game! Nolensville offense is very very good. No turnovers last week for the rockets, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yep, and the last Rockvale TD was as time expired against the JV players. It was really 49-21 varsity on varsity.

Don't toot your horn there. Rockvale JV QB went in after first snap. I think Rockvale may have already had their backups in when Nolensville starting D scooped and scored.

 

Either way, credit to Nolensville. They have a great team and the atmosphere was second to none.

Did Mayhew go out with an injury or was he already out for the game?

With Rockvale not even opening until the Fall of 2019 I am truly impressed that the football program is competitive with teams in their division.  Ricky Rice did a great job getting a new program up and running.

Depends on a lot on coaching and the talent pool. Same with Green Hill, they plopped right into a good talent pool and found instant success. It’s not impossible.

Nobody is tooting horns Boudreaux. I'm an impartial observer. Two busted coverages and score against the JV accounted for 21 points. That can't be argued. Rockvale is well coached and doing a good job. Schemed themselves into some yardage, just couldn't consistently block Nolensville for entire drives.
