REGION 1

This one had two separate cases before tonight. The TSSAA website was showing Tennessee High’s games as non-region, but it now appears that was a bug.

Daniel Boone clinches the region with a win, clinches a home game with a Cherokee win, and is in the playoffs no matter what.

Morristown West is eliminated from title contention with a loss, clinches a home game with a win, and clinches a playoff spot if Daniel Boone wins.

Tennessee High needs a win and a Cherokee win to remain in title contention, a win to stay alive for a home game, and clinches a playoff spot with a win plus a Morristown West win.

David Crockett cannot win the league. On a Morristown West win, David Crockett will be on the road to start the playoffs; if Cherokee wins, DC can finish anywhere from second to out.

Cherokee needs a win to stay in the hunt for second, and is eliminated with a loss plus a Tennessee High win.

REGION 2

West has clinched a playoff berth.

Sevier County is out of the title race with a loss plus a West win. Sevier County clinches a playoff berth with a win.

Knoxville Central clinches a playoff berth if Sevier County wins.

Heritage can at best finish second, and even that requires a win.

Knoxville Halls needs a Heritage win to remain in the second-place hunt (it cannot win the region).

Cocke County can only qualify for an away game, and must win plus a Heritage win for even that to remain possible.

REGION 3

The four playoff teams are decided.

Powell is champion.

Karns clinches second place with a win.

Campbell County and Oak Ridge remain eligible for second place if Oak Ridge wins.

REGION 4

McMinn County and Walker Valley play for the region title. If Rhea County wins, then they will finish 1-2. Both have clinched playoff slots.

Rhea County cannot finish second, and clinches a playoff place with a win.

Ooltewah clinches a playoff spot, but loses its chance at second place, if Rhea County wins.

Howard needs a win to remain in playoff contention; to continue to fight for second, they nees a McMinn County win as well.

REGION 5

Mount Juliet and White County have clinched berths.

Green Hill remains in contention.

Only teams above this line can win the region.

Wilson Central remains in contention.

Station Camp is eliminated from the top two with a loss.

Hillsboro cannot make the top two.

REGION 6

Nolensville has clinched a berth, and wins the region if Spring Hill wins.

Page has clinched a berth, and clinches a home game if Columbia Central and Spring Hill both win.

Franklin County is locked out of the top two with a loss, and clinches a berth with a win or a Columbia Central win.

Lincoln County needs a win plus a Spring Hill win to retain a shot at second (first is out of reach), and clinches a berth with a win.

Columbia Central and Spring Hill must each win to stay alive; they cannot earn a home game.

REGION 7

No games this week. Henry County, Portland, and Springfield are the three possible champions; of these, only Springfield has a path to miss the playoffs. Northeast can at best finish second, while Kenwood and Northwest are fighting only for the two lower places.

REGION 8

Memphis Central and Munford have clinched playoff places.

Southwind remains in contention.

Only teams above this line can finish in the top two.

Brighton, Dyer County, and Memphis Overton remain in contention.

Kingsbury is eliminated with a loss or a Dyer County win.
