I seriously doubt that a majority of the Southern Conference wrestling programs are fully funded with the scholarship limit being 9.9 wrestling scholarships. With that being said the only thing that will change is the larger more well funded programs will stockpile kids to keep them away from other programs. The kids that this hurts the most are the walkon athletes that go to a major program for better coaching and the opportunity to prove that they can become an All-American.
I know everyone is high on South Fulton but I just can't see them being that much better. No doubt there qb is probably the best in the region just not sure they have the athletes to make any noise.
Your band needs to form a big F U on the field when they play Loudon in honor of the school board member/Cop that caused all of this mess. He will be there to see it.
Wonder if the NCAA going to 30 scholarships for wrestling with a cap of only 30 on the team will hurt smaller programs. Will the smaller programs like the SoCon have the money for 30 scholarships. With the new rule are schools forced to give 30 scholarships.
