Both teams left it all on the floor.  Wayne County wins on a last second shot in overtime.  One of the best games to watch all year.  Good luck to both teams in the sub state. Really proud of the effort by the Huntland girls.

What are the keys to slowing down Wayne County?  I know Huntland is big and have a couple of good players as I’ve seen them play twice, but I haven’t gotten to see WC play.  It seems from the score that Huntland held the Lady Cats in check

Have several tall girls. When trapped they just throw it over the top. Huntland has pretty decent ball handlers.

Makes sense that it was so close of Wayne County couldn’t get the turnovers.  I know Huntland has good size.  Huntland’s defense must have been solid in the half court as well.  Huntland will need good ball handlers to stay with McKenzie
