Early contenders for 2-23-24

Pickett County has everyone back from a team that went to the state a year earlier than expected. They will start 2 seniors, a junior, and 2 sophomores with 2 other players who will play a lot. They have at least 3 players who could be Miss basketball nominees. They have gone to the state 6 of the last 9 years. The other 3 years they lost in the region and were 23-6, 18-9 and 19-9.

You got three possible Miss Basketball Nominees you ought to win it. McKenzie has Savannah Davis and one of the Reynolds girls back and Wayne County has a bunch coming back. Savannah Davis and McKenzie put on a shooting clinic last year. They will be tough again to beat.

Another 1 and out, but hey I guess it's a big accomplishment getting there!!
