Stats Program

[GCAStats]

For anyone that does football stats, please share the stats program you are using.  We are evaluating a program change and would like some feedback.  Thanks.

Just started last year but utilized Digital Scout. A few minor bugs but was pleased with the program.

At Austin East we also use Digital Scout.  We've been using it for the last 3 years its pretty easy to use and does everything for you.

We have looked at DS but the developer has been unresponsive to some questions and we noticed that they are 3 or more months behind opening up the 2023 season as compared to prior years. Not sure what to make of that.

Hmmm.... now that you mentioned that. Last year, I  had a couple of situations that I received very quick responses on. 

Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, I asked them a question and I'm still waiting on an response. I've purchased a new device to run it on and just got it today so I have not gotten into the software to experience that yet. May be getting back on here to see which direction you all go and follow suit.

All I had to do was make that statement and bam.... got a response last night from DS support. Sounds like they are beginning preparations for the upcoming season now.

Guys, bad news. I just got word that DS is going offline. There will not be a 2023 Season with them. Whats the next best option? Preferably something free or very low budget

I am glad we did not invest time in this program. Ultimately we decided to stick with Statman.

I just got word too!  Now I’ll have to find something new as well

Is Statman easy to learn ? Whats its price ?

Is statman compatible with Android? 

[GCAStats]

Statman is an excel spreadsheet. Much more robust and better reports than DS. Set up is a little clunky but in game data entry is much better.
