2024 softball tournaments and playdays

The Coffee County Classic will be held on April 26th and 27th in Manchester, TN.  Games are Friday/Saturday, teams can choose to play anywhere from 2 to 5 games over those two days.  Varsity games are a 1 hr and 30 min finishing the inning games.  JV games will be 1 hr finish the inning.

Beech Bash - Middle School Playday - February 23 and 24th

Megan McCrary Playday - High School - March 9th 

Griffin Classic - Tournament - High School - April 19 and 20  

 

All playdays/tourneys take place at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville.  For information and registration forms email Head Coach, Mike Raper at michael.raper@sumnerschools.org

Marshall County HS is hosting a varsity SB playday on Saturday March 2, 2024 in Lewisburg.

Particulars include: 3 games, 75 min d/d, TSSAA umps, open substitution, $250 plus 1 ball per game. Concessions on site.  A few openings are still available.

Bradley Central will be hosting a JV Tournament April 20th 2024.

This will be a single pool double elimination tournament with 1 hour drop dead pool games and 1 hour 15 minute finish the inning Elimination Games.

$200 entry fee 

3 Game Balls Provided for each team

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
