Style: Modified Freestyle

 

Weigh-ins: 8:00 a.m.

 

Wrestling: 9:00 a.m.

 

Divisions: High School Boys and Girls

Divisions: Middle School

 

Periods: One 3 minute period (sudden death overtime)

 

Entry Fee: $25 per wrestler (can only be paid online at trackwrestling.com)

 

Admission: $5 per person

 

There will be a light concession stand

Middle School (6-8): 76, 83, 91, 99, 106, 113, 119, 125, 131, 141, 151, 165, 185, 225, 250

 

Tournament director reserves the right to change/combine weight classes and divisions to maximize the opportunities for the wrestlers.

Modified Freestyle Rules:

Match= one 3 minute period (running clock)

Folkstyle Rules Except

• inaction on mat after 15 results in stalemate (both wrestlers return to neutral position)
• if wrestlers go out of bounds, they return to neutral position (no matter their position when they went out of bounds)
• if wrestlers earn an escape or nearfall after takedown, they can receive those points
• 10 point techfall
• sudden death overtime

Because there will be a running clock, wrestlers will not return to center circle after going out of bounds. Wrestling will resume at closest point in bounds.

Coaches, invite your wrestlers to compete. It will be a relaxed day and a lot of fun.

Friday at 6:00 p.m. is the deadline to pre-register for the Fall Brawl. There will be no registration at the door on Saturday.

Final reminder that wrestlers can register for tournament until 6:00 p.m. this evening. We would love to have some more girls and middle school. The boys division is looking solid. Gonna be a fun day!

Looked like another well run tournament Coach!  Thank you for giving our kids a local option to go get those competitive juices flowing!

This was a well run event.  We had fun in a no pressure environment and got some experience.  Great job.  

We're going to try and bring more next year!
