them 2 been at it for a while......thinkin they started that first contest back around the 50's maybe....not sure who got to claim the W

.....can remember the Irish going up to play them in 2005 in the semis .......was a shootout with quite a few saturday players on the field.....was NDs only loss that year....LA had 4 or 5 losess.... LA beat Lipscomb the next week for the gold ball.....If that semi game would been played at ND where it shoulda been played....may have been a different result....

that cates kid could chunk that ball....had a vaughn kid that could tote the rock pretty well too.
