We get it. Your team has beaten bad teams (which is an improvement from beating no one) and your hopes are dashed. LMFAO

We get it.
Fact is, that no one from Region1 will be playing in the second week of the playoffs.

Enjoy your 2023 Region 1 champions t-shirt from Walmart…if the Pats don’t choke it away.

I guess you're not bright enough to grasp the long term benefits of winning against a schedule you see as easy. Winning games helps WB keep players in zone and makes us better in the long term.  It's not just about winning games this year. Jefferson County is the only school in your county and you don't have to compete with other schools for your athletes. That has been a reality for WB from the jump.

Lakeway Academy is in JC and has hit them some. Will get worse. Also, JC has to deal with Catholic as well. WB does too I imagine. WB will never keep the best kids as they will always go to Maryville or Alcoa.

Go look at my post. I have said the same thing about Region 1 because I am able to see through schedules. I think JC has done a good job of scheduling some good opponents and some gimmies. Week 8, we will see if JC has any chance against region 1 when we travel to Farragut. WB scheduled a bunch of terrible teams and now are getting brought back to reality.

What??? The most Science Hill has scored all season is 27. The lowest scoring game  for WB so far was 29 points at Heritage playing against the officials in a rivalry game. You're also not factoring in the long road trip factor. Science Hill will be making the trip down here. I'll use our home and home with Elizabethton as an example. We had a lead well into the second half when they came here and they beat the crap  out of us up there. The home team has a huge advantage when the visiting team has to be on a bus almost 3 hours and then get off mentally ready to play. I'm expecting a good game.

How did that work out?

The Govs were in the game a few minutes into the 3rd quarter. They were driving with a chance to cut SH's lead to 7 and threw a pick that was a back breaker. We play a lot of young kids and they'll keep getting better.  You - on the other hand - will continue to be a loser without a life. The sad thing is you don't even realize how stupid you look.  Judging by your name, you're old and that just goes to show that maturity isn't guaranteed with age.

I look stupid? You are the one thinking your team has a chance to make the playoffs by beating a bunch of terrible teams. You gave up 56. How was one play the back breaker? Playing young kids can be good for the future. WB has been playing for the future for many years

Do you not understand math? Let me spell it out for you, that one turnover gave SH a 21 point lead in the 3rd qtr, when it could have potentially been just a 7 point lead.

What me and others have actually said the whole season is that our offense will give us a chance to win games in region play. You said our offense wasn't any good and we continue to have success on that side of the ball. We left at least two scores out there with turnovers and bad clock management to end the 1st half.

Leaving scores out there with turnovers don’t count. You got blown out, probably score 7 or 14 points after the game got out of hand. Your defense can stop a nose bleed, and your offense scored a bunch against terrible teams.

    • Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.
    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
