This late in the season and it is obvious that linemen as well as receivers are unsure of who to block. The tackling technique is embarrassing. It has all the red flags of a coaching staff with the philosophy of "getting a lot of reps" in practices instead of doing things perfectly before moving on to something else. The combined coaching IQ of all the coaches added together is a far lower number than the UC head coach alone. But hey, it was an easy hire for the superintendent. The guy was already with the Lauderdale County school system, already on the payroll. That saved him about 45 minutes of paperwork, right. So, for him, it was a no brainer.
