Really? When teams know we’re gonna run the ball and stack the box with 8 guys and he is still putting up these numbers. Come on now. Lewis throws the ball a lot, of course the run game will be open. FootballFanatic12345
Loretto (8-0, 5-0) at Waverly (7-1, 4-1): Don’t look for a defensive struggle in this one. The host Tigers are averaging 40 points per game, the Mustangs 35.5. Bryce Stanfield is the key offensive cog for the hosts, with 1,700-plus total yards. Sophomore QB Mason Tidwell continues to be a more-than-capable stand-in for senior Carter Daniel, running and throwing for 1,063 yards and 10 TDs on the year. He leads a multi-faceted offense that also features RBs Jaden Stults and Nicholas McDow (1,192 total rushing yards, 16 TDs). Loretto’s offensive balance and a defense that’s allowing just over two touchdowns per game will likely prove the difference in this one. Loretto 32, Waverly 26. Sophomore QB ain’t as mobile as the Senior was. Not as mobile as Waverlys QB either. It’s gonna be a battle but I still believe a lot of Loretto fans will be stunned with a long trip home ahead of them.
