Definitely not fair to compare last year's team and this year's team. Last year's team was the best in a generation and the most successful in program history. However, let's not act like Gordonsville didn't lose a very good senior class from last year as well. Tonight's game will come down to which team wins the battle in the trenches and who can avoid making costly mistakes.

I completely agree. I was just starting that there was no way that you guys were as talented as last years team. We are down this year too from losing that senior group. Which is why I expect a close game

Athletes are not even close compared to last year it’s  night and day, however they do have a shot to win the region which is a good step in the right direction for next year. If they show up in the trenches, limit turnovers and penalties this game will be close. If Clay don’t tackle like last week then musgrove will run wild. If Clay wins they make Gordy pass the ball by stopping the run, Clays secondary is pretty good so I expect them to make some plays to keep this one close.

Clay 28

Gordy27

Besides from tailback and slot every other position better.
