we looked rough last week. this will probably be a close game

i tend to agree. the talent is comparable. the coaching and belief in self isn't. this forrest team is leaving the rails because the kids no longer believe in their head guy. ive been saying it for a long time.  ive been criticized for it. i will continue to catch flack for saying it. but it's true and it has been true.

someone needs to step up from this program and gracefully ask for a resignation and a fresh start. it's a difficult decision but once it is made, relief will set in, then lots and lots of hope.

the sooner the better

well sounds like the complete opposite from us. the coaching hasn’t been the problem despite everyone on here saying that’s the problem. the problem is the kids won’t execute the game plan offensively. defense was lights out last night while the offense couldn’t make routine plays

to me F'ville is going thru a normal cycle. you won a gold ball, move to a different class, play a very difficult early schedule, and are still one of the top 15 teams in 2A, more than likely. thats pretty good and normal

i’ll agree with that but they could’ve competed better with a lot of those teams. if they fix these little, mistakes they can make a deep run this year.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
