Dylan and Cam are fun to watch and I'll bet that will be the final at 144. Cam is squirrelly! Also interested in semi-final at 165. Not sure Mason beats Titus twice but should be a fun one to watch. Team race will probably be between Baylor and FRyan. Not sure we can get it done this year as several of our guys that could have made finals are on the wrong side. Excited for it all though! Ryan looks to have 5 title locks (Tran, Hare, Gobbell, Roark, and Deane). Baylor's 114,132,215, and 285 will be out early. I think Mccallie can put up enough points in the consis to have a shot at pulling out the win.
mtnrasslin
Congrats to Coach Kendall and the Baylor Red Raiders. It’s been an impressive finish to the Tennessee season, especially with losing Sturgill at the end. Thankfully another Sturgill was willing contribute her skills when needed. Off to the Prep Nationals.
Mythoughts123
Sounded like Pat Simpson thought he had this one in the bag in the chattanoogan article this morning. Incredible job in the consis by Baylor. Very impressive without Hunter Father Ryan Leading Baylor In D-II State Wrestling - Chattanoogan.com Edited February 16 by Mythoughts123

Very impressive without Hunter Father Ryan Leading Baylor In D-II State Wrestling - Chattanoogan.com Just my opinion but I don’t feel “Pat Simpson thought he had this one in the bag” based on his quote from the Chattanoogan Article you linked. Ryan went 2-6 in the backside on day 2, lost 113 finals to BA and dropped 2/3 in the head to head finals matches against Baylor. Baylor picked up some key wins on the backside and finished strong, great tournament by Baylor, they earned it. Simpson stated “We need to show up and perform” and “tomorrow should be fun.” I don’t believe Simpson would ever say or think he had it in the bag as you say, Simpson has been around long enough to know better. Congrats to all the wrestlers and teams who earned their spot in the tournament and on the podium. I don’t believe anyone felt they had it in the bag! "We got some help from other teams and we're to the point where we just need to close the deal. We meet Baylor three times in the finals and that might determine who wins, but it's still anybody's tournament. We just have to show up and perform. We had a really bad state duals tournament, but maybe that was the wakeup call we needed. But tomorrow should be fun," he added.

I’d say your prediction is accurate but I do hope we get to see that match again at Prep Nationals next week. The match itself was a great match and exciting to watch.

I have nothing but respect for Simpson and his tenure at Father Ryan. Maybe the reporters statement of "seeing the lights at the end of the tunnel" made me misinterpret his statement. Regardless great weekend of wrestling and congrats to all. Hopefully we see some rematches at prep nationals.
